Services and Fees

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has established the base fee in solemnizing a marriage as follows:

100.00 – Marriages performed within the city/town in which the Justice resides.

150.00 – Marriages performed elsewhere in Massachusetts.

These fees include solemnizing your marriage and returning your license to the appropriate city/town clerk.   Additional fees are applied in relation to the extent of your wedding ceremony and services performed.  Ceremonial Elements and/or including a wedding party add to the complexity of the ceremony and prices are calculated accordingly on an individual basis.

While each wedding is unique, I offer the following examples of wedding costs:

$175.00 – A simple elopement-style ceremony held in the Falmouth/Mashpee area consisting of the couple, along with a few family and friends. In addition to solemnizing your marriage and filing your license, this price includes an introductory meeting, preparing your ceremony and unlimited communication via phone/e-mail.  An additional cost may be applied for locations beyond the local community.

$75.00 – Rehearsals within the Falmouth/Mashpee area.  An additional cost may be applied for locations beyond the local community.

$75.00 – Organizational Meetings at Wedding Venues located in the Falmouth/Mashpee area.  An additional cost may be applied for locations beyond the local community.

$75.00/per hour – I am happy to assist with Other Special Requests such as organizing/planning with local vendors.

In all cases a non-refundable $75.00 deposit is required in order to reserve your wedding date. This deposit ensures that I will not book another wedding in conflict with your date and time.

The balance, along with your marriage license is due no later than 5 days prior to your wedding date.
